Well the Silly Season is upon us already and it’s time to do something silly again, so here are the details for the 2011 DRCC Club Christmas Social Ride:
Sunday December 11th
Mt Joyce Shoreline Trail
7:45am, for 8am Departure at Western Trailhead by shuttle vehicle to Eastern Trailhead
8:15am Departure from Eastern Trailhead – “Social Group”
8:30am Departure from Eastern Trailhead – “Fast Group”
25km – Social Group (Ride led by Eric Sibly)
35km – Fast Group (Ride led by Hayden Lester)
Rendezvous at Western Trailhead ~11am for BBQ, Coffee, Drinks, Christmas Cheer, supplied by DRCC.
Where’s the Western Trailhead?
Club Champion
Each year, we award a peer-voted Club Champion Trophy. The award is given based on the following criteria:
- Racing Results and Attendence
- Club Volunteering
- Social Ride Attendence
- Contribution to Club Activiites
- Trail Care Initiatives
- Other Activities that promote MTB and DRCC.
So if you have someone that has been outstanding in any of the above in 2011, please vote for them now by emailing secretary@mtbdrcc.com
