Club

Jump Competition2006 Summary

2006 provided many opportunities to learn and gain experience in hosting a variety of race situations. We held club level races, as well as the Qld Downhill State Round and Qld XC State Round. The club also promoted a Jump Competition and Slalom.

Trail Care and Development

We have also had the opportunity to work with the Brisbane City Council Trailcare Coordinator, Chris Maeirhofer, and club representatives have attended seminars to enable the club to run its own trail care working bees in accordance with BCC regulations.

Anyone who is interested in working on trails please advise your contact details, and we will keep members and volunteers informed about upcoming work days.

Regular Events

In 2007, D.R.C.C. will continue to host rides and club events throughout the year.  Regularly visit the events page for the list of upcoming events.

Remember all members receive 10% off Naples Pizza Ashgrove, also members are eligible for 10% off all parts and accessories as well as 20% off service labour charges at Ashgrove Cycles.

For new and continuing members, the membership form needs to be completed and returned to Ashgrove Cycles with payment.

Happy mtbing!

Hi Scott,
Thanks for your enquiry,
In your area there are trails such as Beerwah, Mapleton and Daybora. Please use the ‘Where to MTB in SEQ” book as a guide and ride ONLY on legal trails.
DRCC hosted 1x State DH and XC per season plus other events such as the “Ashgrove Jump Jam”. With more active club members we can have More DH races more often, such as over the summer. Please send DRCC your email details so we can provide you with a club pack, our next ride and up coming races.
Thanks again,
Gavin Finlay
President
